Thomas Blume Ph.D.

Thomas W. Dr. Blume is the creator of Identity Renegotiation Counseling (www.identityrenegotiation.com), a perspective that emphasizes the relational nature of human problems and the identity changes involved in life transitions. He is licensed in Michigan as a Professional Counselor (LPC) and as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). He is a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAAMFT) and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. In addition to serving clients, he provides clinical supervision to Michigan professionals who have Limited Licenses, working toward the LPC and LMFT. He is author of Becoming a Family Counselor: A Bridge to Family Therapy, Theory and Practice (John Wylie & Sons, 2006).
