Holding a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, Anilda has provided expert care in various settings, managing complex mental health disorders, performing crisis interventions, and delivering psychopharmacological treatments. Their prior experience in vascular surgery has equipped them with advanced procedural skills, perioperative patient management, and collaborative care coordination. Their DNP project focused on smoking and its effects on peripheral artery disease, highlighting their commitment to vascular health and preventive care.

In addition to clinical practice, Anilda is a dedicated educator passionate about developing the next generation of healthcare professionals. As a Visiting Professor at Oakland University, they teach courses in pathophysiology, nursing leadership, and oversee capstone clinical rotations, fostering critical thinking and clinical excellence in nursing students.
