Shakari Harris, LMSW

Shakari Harris, LMSW is a licensed clinical social worker. She received her undergraduate degree in Social Work at Marygrove College and earned her Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan, with a concentration in interpersonal studies with children and youth. She extremely passionate about working with children, adolescents, young adults and exploring family psychodynamics.
 
As a previous school social worker, Shakari has dedicated herself towards working with youth diagnosed with multiple mental and physical disorders, adjustment issues, and grief/loss. Additionally, she specializes in treating Eating Disorders. Shakari provides her clients with a person-centered experience as she believe everyone is unique in their needs. With that in mind, she employ multiple methods of engagement with her clients to explore their needs and identify accurate and appropriate treatment planning.
